we're going to address kind of an unusual topic. I'm going to talk about suppressors and

the effect they have on hunting and particularly of course how this

applies to the backcountry. We'll talk about performance, we'll talk about pros and cons and

we're going to talk about how to get one, how to shop for one, how to make good

choices, and how to streamline and make as easy as possible that process of getting a suppressor.

All right, this is in response to a listener's question.

This is from at sage underscore sniper on Instagram and he says that he's really interested in

suppressors length weight is kind of a

special unique type of suppressor that has certain advantages.

Now sage sniper is a serious predator hunter.

Does a lot of predator calling in various Western states.

And he also mentioned that he's currently

considering the process of building a 6-M rifle

with a fast-twist barrel that will accommodate non-toxic bullets because interestingly

enough some of the best coyote hunting that he accesses is in California and of

course they require non-toxic bullets for hunting.

Now there's a nice side benefit of a fast twist barrel in a predator rifle and that's that you can also

shoot very high BC bullets that will help you

reach way way out there if you want to try and increase your lethal range on

predators. This can be a real advantage in areas where
