And also we're going to talk a bit about fly fishing for trout on the Yakima River,

which does go on all winter.

So you'll get some hot tips on what to do this winter if you live in the state of Washington

or if you plan on fishing in the state of Washington.

But first, let's go to the flybox.

And I'm going to start this week with an email from Avery just got back from a trip to Colorado and now I have the itch got to fish the middle fork

of the South Platte and I caught three small browns in the itch. Got to fish the middle fork of the South Plat and I caught

three small browns in the span of an hour. Great fishing. The reason that I didn't catch more was that I

was fishing over the main current to the foam eddies with a size 16 L. Care Caddus where the browns are

rising and after a great cast eventually my fly would create wakes on the surface due to the

stronger current pulling on my fly line in wakes on the surface due to the stronger current

dip under the surface and I would have to recast. I noted afterwards that the three fish I caught

were all caught before the flies started to create these wakes. How do you successfully fish
