their battlefields years later.

Donnie Edwards joins me now.

So talk to me a little bit about your journey, Donnie, because you're a former NFL linebacker,

and you've spent over the last decade bringing veterans back to the battlefields that they fought on.

Tell me about that transition.

Well, it's been great, actually. I've been doing it for such a long time. It started back in 2005. I was still playing football in the NFL for the Chargers and just a chance happening.

I was meeting. I was meeting some veterans and talking to them and they wanted to go back to Normandy.

I was like, you want to go back to Normandy? I said, absolutely. I said, well, how come, why don't

you go back? They said, oh, I'm too old. I can't afford it. I don't have the means. You know, I can't do
