national pageant. I don't know what they're going to say. You don't know what they're going

to say. So we will listen to what they have to say and quite probably respond afterwards.

We're also going to discuss our shared existence.

It's important to remember that, isn't it, in the context of something like a virus,

something like a pandemic, is that we are all in the same boat.

There are different classes, there are different tiers on the boat of both vulnerability

and comprehension.

But one thing that seems to me to be sadly missing from the broader context or coverage of this coronavirus crisis is the knowledge that we are all in it together.

It's, you know, my feelings about the ease with which we've been set at each other's throats over the last four or five years,

often for completely spurious reasons, but once you've got your badge on, once you've bolted

that scarf around your neck, God, God forbid that you should entertain the possibility that the

other lot might have some good points to make, or indeed that those of us who don't have any team

at all are probably the ones who can be most trusted.

But it's too late to undo that.

It just occurred to me two things this weekend really resonated with me.
