Thank you. Reunion.

That's the nothing personal word of the day. Reunion. It is Monday, August 4th,

2025, and as I sit here in Metal Arc Studios in Miami, Florida at the Great Elser,

it is hard not to start the show talking about the hometown Miami Marlins, their sweep of the Yankees this

weekend in front of three sold-out crowds at Marlins Park.

Over 100,000 people got to enjoy dominance, the likes of which aren't often seen. Two special things happened this weekend,

one special for all of you, one special just for me. The one special for all of you is that the

World Series winning manager of the 2003 team, Jack McKeon, got inducted into the Marlins Hall of Fame,

a Hall of Fame that didn't exist before this year and started with an inaugural class of

Jeff Conine, Jimmy Leland, the manager of the 1997 World Series team, Jack McKeon, and Luis

Castillo, who will be put into the Hall of Fame

on August 24th at Lone Depot Park.

When I found out that I had an opportunity to go to the game, when Jeff Conine called

and said, hey, are you going to the game?

And I said, hmm, haven't thought about it.

My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail,

but I said to Kohnan, of course, I want to be there for Jack. Jack is 94 years old. You have to

take opportunities to celebrate those who live because what you do when people are alive is far more important than what you do when

they're dead. No matter what game of would you or would you not go to their funeral do you play,

you try to do things for people when they're alive. So I called Jack and I said Jack, it's

Sparky. Sparky! You come to Miami? I said yes. He said thank you, Sparky. you come to Miami?

I said yes.
