Summary
Kelly had a unfortunate and classic first time hospital birth, with all of the interventions. Following her sabatoged first birth experience, she had a hard time breastfeeding, and therefore, an insecure and disconnected start to motherhood. In her postpartum, she realized that she was done listening to everyone else besides herself, and when she saw raw footage of her friend's unassisted birth, her evolution began to unfold.
Kelly shares her experience of coming home to herself after sexual abuse, embodying her power in freebirth, and how birth is more than just birth- it's everything.
