can break down every juicy moment and unpack all the weird messages these shows send us

Welcome to Love to See It and to a very difficult and complicated episode of The Bachelorette

that I would say has left us like completely shattered.

Honestly, we tried to make a joke here and we literally couldn't.

Yeah, we're both in a real state. Last night was rough, this morning is rough.

We're going to be completely honest. We recorded our recap yesterday initially before the

show aired and it was really difficult to do to our satisfaction.

We had a lot of difficulty articulating our really complicated thoughts about that final

segment with Greg and especially after seeing the conversation that unfolded around it online,

we felt that there was space for us to have an even more nuanced conversation about this

really fraught episode and we really wanted to make sure that we were doing right by everyone

ourselves in this recording. Ultimately, we did end up retaping the latter part of this

episode which focuses on Greg.

Yeah, and this was a very divisive episode. I know we're not going to satisfy everyone

with our take, but we are really honestly doing everything in our power to take into account

everything and to be as thoughtful and empathetic as possible.

We're going to kick things off with the recap of the first half of the episode with Blake

and Justin featuring our wonderful guest, friend and journalist Laura Bassett.
