Hey guys, Emma here. Claire is still in France and my backseat step yesterday, so I've been in a little bit of excruciating pain.

But I'm so dedicated to news about the Bachelor at that I am here in the office today to record a bonus episode.

There's been some big news this week.

Not Happy News, but Big News.

Reality Steve broke a story a few days ago that Lincoln Adam from Becca Season was convicted of,

quote, in decent assault and battery for groping and assaulting an adult female on a harbor cruise ship.

This conviction took place on May 21st of this year, but the incident in question actually occurred in 2016.

So that means that in the interim Lincoln was cast on and then filmed the Bachelor at.

So I'm going to first just read the statement that reality Steve and Ashley Spivey, who was helping him kind of dig into this story,

ended up getting from Jake Warck, the press secretary for the Suffolk County District Attorney's office in Massachusetts.

He said, quote, Mr Adam was convicted on May 21, 2018 of indecent assault and battery for groping and assaulting an adult female on a harbor cruise ship early on May 30, 2016.

He was sentenced to one year in a house of correction with that term suspended for a two year probationary period.

The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three alcoholics anonymous meetings per week during those two years.

If he complies with the judge's orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or reoffends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars.

Close quote, we're going to get to my chat with reality Steve and some of my personal thoughts on how this affects our viewing experience.

But before we do, I want to say that I did reach out to both ABC and Warner Brothers, who produces the bachelor and bachelor at to ask if they had comment on this news and see if they would comment on what Lincoln's future on the show would look like because, of course, he has not yet been kicked off.

ABC told me that they do not comment on production matters and Warner Brothers gave the following statement quote, no one on the bachelor at production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Adam was cast and he himself denied ever having engaged in or having been charged with any sexual misconduct.
