And for the last episode of the year we are kicking off another specialty episode and this one is all about money

So whether it's how much money a bachelor's star can make on the show or off the show and everything in between we're going to be covering it and

discussing and dissecting and sharing our thoughts about it. Let's do it.

So one of the most commonly asked questions about the show is do you get paid to just be a contestant and you don't you have to go on on your own no money yes and something to note so that's just for a bachelor and bacheloret rep but then obviously if you're asked to go on paradise you do make money and we'll talk about that a little bit later.

Something that's always very crazy to me though is like people need to quit their jobs because you're not getting paid for it.

I always am very curious and I'm sure it's different for every contestant and everyone's like in

different phases of their life but like how are people funding this like they're either quitting their jobs or taking leaves from jobs, which like you can't do that from every job and they're showing up with so much fucking clothes. You need like 16 gowns. That's so much money

money up front for you might be a night one go home or not even be guaranteed

anything you know that would really stress me out because I wouldn't know what to pack.

You don't want to assume that you're going to be the final one packing 16 gowns, but like...

But you can't not pack 16 gowns, right, yeah.

My biggest fear of going on the show is being a night one go home right. I'm like how depressing is that you bought 16 gowns hopefully they're returnable and you planned so many outfits you planned like athletic outfits you planned snow outfits you planned beach

outfits you planned outfits for literally every single climate in every

single part of the world and you bought all those outfits too it's insane well a

lot of the smarter girls now are reaching out to brands before they go on the show and they're like, hey, I'm going on the bachelor, do you want to send me clothes? So then a lot of girls are getting free items that obviously is a newer thing to do because back in the day like I remember I think it was

Olivia Karidi said she spent like eight grand on dresses before coming on the

show because you want to like you want to stand out you're going on national

television so how do you not spend that kind of money?
