and does free speech really protect your right to offend other people?

So I thought about who I wanted to bring on to discuss this,

and I thought I should bring on somebody who's been in the heat of the free speech debate,

has been affected by the free speech debate,

as a leftist and you as a conservative.

Do we share the common ground that most people do not intend to cause harm with the things that they say?
