I had to do a special show just for the special show that Babyface, Kenny Babyface Edmonds, did for all of us this weekend on Instagram Live.

He did a special 25th anniversary celebration of the soundtrack and movie that he was a part of.

And of course, the amazing Whitney Houston was a part of.

I mean, I don't know if you guys got an opportunity to see it, to see it,

or listen to the music that he played, or hear the stories that he told about it. But I felt

the need to share some of those, some of my favorite stories from the live session. But first,

shout out to Kenny Babyface Edmonds for, first, influencing me to want to be a songwriter, but also for just creating this amazing.

It was like a perfect show.

You could tell he's a producer because he produced this live.

Like I, you know, so many so many people go live and it's just very off the cuff.

Not Babyface. I cuff, not baby face.

I mean, he had stories.

He had special guests.

He just, it was amazing.

And I'm so excited to share some of that with you guys today.

So I want to start in October 1994.

I got this call in my house.
