You meet so many interesting people at the RNC. So last night a major theme was immigration.

Here's the statistics, the US southern border, has experienced almost six and a half

million migrant encounters so far during the Biden presidency.

The numbers for Trump with an assist from COVID were 2.5 million, which is still a lot.

This leads to the cry, we need to secure the border. It's not phrased as to better secure or to stem the

tide. We need to secure, shut down, and oftentimes deport. So as far as the interesting people, I had my own

encounter with a prominent proponent of these policies. Lauren Bobert

currently serves Colorado in the third congressional district. She has now

moved to gain the Republican nomination in the fourth district. She's done so.

She's likely to be reelected to Congress. I asked her about immigration and a little bit about her own self-conception.

Do you think immigration is really an issue? Now you could win politically on but you can solve.

So first of all we have to begin to solve it by securing our own border. That is our hard stop. We have to secure the

border. Having more than 12 million illegal aliens come into our country is

absolutely unacceptable. We are not a sovereign nation if we continue to allow this.
