Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Homemakersheak podcast. This is the podcast where we are rescuing the art of homemaking from the daily grind.

And there was a lot of grind ditch last week. So we've done been ground down. We've done been ground down you guys. So thank you for being patient with us while we took a week off.

We both had kind of some family emergencies that were waiting for no one, no podcast to be sure. So we went, took care of our family, took care of what we needed to do and we're back here with you today.

Hello little ground down. Yeah, maybe a few inches shorter.

Yeah, how are you? And we really haven't like not a lot of interact. I mean, because this was an all hands on deck for both of us. So we haven't really had a lot of connection in the last week.

Yeah. So good to see your face. I know. Good to see you too. I miss when we don't do this because even though we broadcast this to tens of thousands of people, it's like actually our catch up time.

Sometimes do, which is kind of odd. Speaking of tens of thousands of people, I was, you know, my social skills are just bar none phenomenal.

I am amazing. And so I didn't get her name, but a special thought shout out to the listener who heard my voice in a store the other day.

And I wasn't even facing her. I heard the words behind me, homemade crochet.

I was like, maybe do you like the show? And of course, and naturally it was like I had worked out and needed to run to the hardware store. So I'm like, okay, whatever, I'm going to the hardware store.

I got no brawn. You can probably smell me a mile away. Angela, that's great. Have you learned nothing from this podcast? Come on, usually I look great.

Never when you look great that you see people, but she, so, so thank you to nameless person that I didn't even ask your name.

Well, there you go. So, yeah.

So we are events started a couple weeks ago and maybe we even talked about that. But I do find that difficult things like my friend Natalie said we were over there for dinner and she said, you know, things tend to come in waves.

And we were like sort of in the middle of the wave at this point. I'm like, do they? And then the wave got big. And I was like, oh, look at that. It did come in a wave.

And if you're wondering like what the cherry on top was, it was one of my boys body slamming the other boy into the tile floor cracking out front teeth. So that was a pretty expensive turn of events.
