Recently, the Washington Post published an oddly titled piece celebrating the Miraculous

Survival of Denver Coleman.

Thirty weeks into pregnancy, Kenyatta Coleman learned her unborn child at a pre-birth condition

that only gave it a 1% chance of surviving.

With Coleman's permission, doctors performed a first of its kind surgery.

Days later, Coleman gave birth to Denver, a miraculously healthy little girl.

What despite the pieces clear joy over the miracle of Denver's life, even calling her

an unborn child throughout the piece, the Washington Post editors ran with this title,

quote, a fetus had a 1% chance at life, and a historic surgery saved it.

Fetus, it, not child, or her, talk about underwhelming.

A doubt that her parents or family, even the doctors trained in medical ease, used that

kind of language to describe Denver after working so hard to save her life.

All life is miraculous.

All are, whatever their health or ability created by God in his image.
