Mr. and I had a big family.

We hardly had any time for ourselves, you know.

If I could ever just get through the newspaper one time without the kids interrupt

when it was a miracle. They always wanted to go somewhere and do something. Well, of course,

they're all grown up now and Esther's dead. I just wish they'd call just every now and then just

pick up the phone and say hi, Granddad. How are you? Well, they never call anymore call anymore in fact they never come by i'd just like to see

my little daughter lucy sometimes she just bring kids over and Tommy my son he never comes so

to her heck i'm just sitting here all alone, waiting for the phone.

The mail never comes.

I never get any mail.

Anybody ever calls me.

It's just a terrible thing.

That's the way it is, I guess.

I'll just keep watching these old soap out. I'll just keep watching.

They just get it. The telephone. When it rings, answer.
