We're covering it all. Yankees wins, Giants drama, national headlines, and whatever chaos the day brings on the field and all. No filler, no filters, just real conversation. And believe me, plenty of laughs every weekday morning. We don't hold back and we don't waste your time. |
| 0:22.8 | We get to what actually matters. |
| 0:24.5 | That's boomer and geo and you can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your pods. What's up guys? I'm Jordan Robinson, host of the podcast, The Women's Hoops Show. We're heading towards the home stretch of the WMBA season, and there is so much to get into every episode. Twice a week, I'm joined by one of my amazing co-hosts as we dissect the biggest games, performances, and even some off-court drama. The playoffs are quickly approaching, and now is the best time to tune in. Who will come away is this year's champion? The competition is heating up, and so are we. Listen to and follow the women's hoop show available now, wherever you get your podcasts. Can't get enough of Boomer and Carton in the morning. Al Tewks and Jerry Recco are here with some sports news and updates they didn't have time to cover. Here we go! It's the Boomer and Carton Postgame show with Al and Jerry. All right, here we go on a... I'll say it's a Wednesday. We're going to have a ticket on my car. By the way, Al Dukes, I got a ticket yesterday. I was six minutes late going down for the stupid meter, and there were not tickets on just my car. They ticketed every car out there. They nailed everyone. Yeah, so clearly people are taking advantage of a little stretch of 10 minutes here, 15 minute, well, not yesterday. I was very disappointed by that. See, because you've oftentimes forgotten to pay your meter and you go down and have no ticket, I'm never in a panic mode about getting down there to pay on time. Oh, but if I have a ticket, you're going to have a ticket. No, no, I'm saying. You haven't had tickets. |
| 1:47.9 | You had a... ticket. I'm never in a panic mode about getting down there to pay on time. Oh, but if I have a ticket, you're going to have a ticket. No, no, I'm saying. You haven't had tickets. |
| 1:59.0 | You had a little one there where you would make sometimes be 40 minutes late and go, oh, man, I forgot to pay my meeting. Yeah, I missed full hours. Yeah. I mean, I had one morning. I didn't pay it all morning and it hit me at 1130 and I went and I |
| 2:01.1 | paid my 15 minutes. I went down there. No ticket. |
| 2:03.8 | It's just, you know, you catch it. Oh, pay it all morning. And it hit me at 1130. And I paid my 15 minutes. |
| 2:02.2 | I went down there. |
| 2:02.8 | No, take it. |
| 2:03.8 | It's just, you know, you catch it. |
| 2:04.8 | Oh, you know what I saw the other day? And then we'll get to the funny stories. Oh, the hilarious stories. This was not hilarious because it probably cost me nine minutes of getting out of here, which doesn't seem like much, |
| 2:13.3 | but FD, |
| 2:13.7 | but up since 230, |
| 2:14.4 | I want to go home when I'm done. |
| 2:16.3 | So the one rare day |
| 2:17.9 | that I was not planning on looking for parking, |
| 2:19.9 | which I really, |
| 2:20.6 | I don't look anyway. There's one block I look at, and if it's not there, I go right to the front of the building. So my spot in the street wasn't available, so I go right to the front of the building. But as I'm turning, I see a spot on Charlton. Oh, look at this. Charlton is right next door to where we were. |
| 2:36.1 | Yeah, sometimes blind squirrel finds the nut. |
| 2:38.7 | I was the blind squirrel. |
| 2:39.6 | The spot was the nut. |
