All right, we go on the podcast on a Wednesday. Al is off. As he, as I pointed out earlier this morning, if Craig's off, Al's off. So I am very happy and pleased to say hello to Eddie Skazari. What's up, Eddie? Hello, podcast people. You do that every time that you do this? Yeah, because I'm so rarely here. It's like when Batgirl used to be a guest on Batman, it was very rare. So you compare yourself to Batgirl? Sure, why not? What the hell, right? Mm-hmm. So today, Day 1, no Craig. Yes. And so Wally Zurbiac came in. And are you ever amazed at, I know you think things are whatever, I don't want to get into the whole thing that life is written out. But the fact that Wally Zerbiak was here today when at 2 o'clock in the morning, reports start surfacing that Phil Jackson might be gone. I mean, the timing of that, now, why wasn't Phil Sims scheduled to be on? Now, I know boomers saw Wally yesterday at the golf tournament, but very interesting. It was great. Absolutely. As you would say, we stepped in it today. Yes. Very fortunate. Now, there were people, and I'm not speaking out of school because Wally was hit up on Twitter about this as well. There were people that said a little more energy, perhaps, but I do know he was out late for this tournament last night, had some cocktails. The fact that he got up and he was ready to go at 6 o'clock was actually pretty cool. And Wally, this is not what he does. Correct. I mean, if he was in the routine of doing it every day, it'd be more in a flow, it'd be all different dynamic.

it would be all different dynamic. But, you know, for being a Knicks and basketball expert, it was perfect. I'm actually amazed when I meet guys like him. Frank Adelanato is another one. We meet these people through Craig and Boomer. Right. John Franco's like that, too. These are guys that had, I mean, Franco had an amazing baseball career.

Yes.

Wally had a terrific NBA career. Catalano was a very good player. And you meet these guys and how some of them are just so pleasant to deal with. Yep. Like the fact that he's Wally Zerbiak and had this, really, a great career. And he couldn't be a nicer dude. Right. Exactly. And he hobbles around on one leg, which is not good. Unlike boomer or NFL MVP, painting in the ass. Well, he's not a pain in the ass. It's a pain in the ass to you. Yes. Is what he is. So I was in the Dominican Republic this weekend, which... Punta Kana. Yes, Punta Kana.

Went to the Hard Rock Hotel. I had a really good time. And I was struck by a couple of things.

And not that maybe it's not topic worthy, but I found it interesting that, and me and you have

discussed this too in the past, you know, off mic. So it was an all-inclusive place.

All the drinking you can do.

And I mean, they really push the liquor on you and all the food that you can eat.

And we went to a Brazilian steakhouse, number one, which is this is really caught my eye.

And things that you kind of know and realize,

but you've got to think about them to really have the whole picture.

This is the Brazilian Steakhouse on, I guess it was Friday night,

and they come over with just these, I don't even what they're called,

the metal rods that shoot through, the meat that they

slice for you, whatever you call it. But it was waiter after waiter and slice in and slam, I'm like, oh, I'm good. No, no, no, it's all you can eat, get more. And then you go over where the oven is and you see the amount of meat that's in the oven. And then you sit there and think, They're doing this how many hours a day, how many days a week, how many years.

And I can't get the thought out of my head.
