So I have to admit, I'm watching the MET game last night with my son. And Noah's Cindergarten, the first inning, was lights out. I mean, he was awesome. And then Michael Conforto makes that diving catch in center field. And I turned to my son and I go, it's early. but when he's got this kind of stuff and you're getting catches like that, watch out for the no-hitter. Because of one diving playing the outfields. It felt to me in that first inning that he looked as good as ever. I mean, 100 miles an hour on the radar gun, he's blowing guys away. He had that one battle.

But he had that one seven or eight pitch battle that he won. And then you get the fly ball. Conforto comes running in, makes the diving catch. And I said, just keep an eye. I'm telling you right now, no hitter stuff. Well, he didn't walk anyone, Jerry, for another game.

No, but how about we don't throw wild pitches?

How about we're not tossing balls to first base with two guys about to collide? How about a strubal Cabrera puts the glove down? How about Cespitus runs after a ball without breaking in first? That hitting fell apart quickly. The ball that got by Bruce at first base, the first one.

I thought the same thing. I agree. And they didn't even make a big deal out of it. Because you can't. They said it's not replayable if the ump is right there. And the hump was on top of it. Then it was the play where Jay Bruce being playing first base for the first time in quite some time. Fields that ball. Now, whose fault is that? Terry Collins said Cindergarde was laxed on the play. He's supposed to get over there. That's his ball. He's lazy.

He was too lazy getting over the first base.

So I hope Homer's going to just drill him today.
