And today I'm excited about sharing something with you that is one of my personal self-care practices

and something that is super easy and incredibly

luxurious and also really rejuvenative that you can be doing at home too. So what I'm

going to be sharing about today is called Abyanga, which is an Ayurvedic practice of oil massage.

So it's a self-oil massage. And I don't know about you, but, you know,

sometimes when you think of, you know, doing things to better your health, it might seem like

maybe a little bit of a chore or something that's like, okay, I got to do this and I got to add this on.

But this, I guarantee you, is a practice that you are going to absolutely fall in love with.

And it's a little bit of a different way to take herbal medicine, not through a tea or a capsule or a tincture,

but something that you're actually putting the herbs topically all over your skin and absorbing them through your skin.

And so before I get super deep into the therapeutics of self-oil massage,

and also the, I'm going to also give you a few tips on some different herbs that you can use

for balancing the different dosha's or constitutions. So for different body types, I'm going to give you some specific remedies that I love to make herbal oils with.

But before I dive into that, I just wanted to read this to you, which is a little quote from the Vagabata, which is about Abiyanga here, which is, and these are,

Ayurveda is really awesome. I love Ayurveda because it's, you know, thousands and thousands

of years old, so there's so much depth and history behind it. And to have just wisdom like this that is intact and passed on for that long is just really

So I just want to read this from one of the old texts, which is that oil massage should
