It's been another really challenging year of the pandemic,

and families across the nation are trying to figure out

how to share the holidays together.

But for some, this is really hard.

Welcome to Problems.

Problems is a series about comfortable upper middle class people who have a lot to complain about.

This year, sisters Andrea and Amanda have managed to get to their childhood home in Massachusetts

to spend Christmas with their parents. But Sister Pam and her daughter, River,

are not able to get there, which is disappointing and challenging.

On Christmas Eve to share some time together, the girls get together for a Zoom call.

So when did you guys get to the house? Were you there this afternoon?

I've been here for like two days basically because I just had so many meetings or like interviews that I didn't want to be in transit so I just wanted to get myself to one place.

I got in yesterday. We've been dealing with mom and dad all day. I just want to start I know that mom and dad all day.

I just want to start.

I know that mom and dad are not going to come to this Zoom call.

And I don't know, I'm just feeling kind of sad because I remember last year

when we did our singing and stuff it felt like we were more

together even though we were still on Zoom it still felt like we were more together

and I think that that's true for me just because I we were all alone but now I'm the only one who's alone

But this was just fine. Yeah, I mean we really miss you and we wish that it felt like it was safe to be with you and river but until you feel comfortable
