near-death experiences and the nature of reality. His work delves into the realms of quantum physics,

Simon. So we're going to talk about your book, Near Death Experiences,

the science, psychology, and anthropology behind the phenomenon.

Do you feel that near death experiences are a genuine separation

between the body and consciousness, or are you on the fence?

From my research, and I've been researching the near-death experience now, both as a

professional writer for over 25 years and an interest before then as well.

I think it's far more complex than that.

I think we need to start thinking, I hate the term outside of the box,

but we need to start thinking more progressively about this

because there are allied phenomena such as dimethylptomyan experiences,

alien encounters, out-of-body experiences, these things, all of which seem to link.

And if we start applying neurology and we start applying our developing knowledge of quantum mechanics with regard to consciousness,

we are rapidly coming to the conclusion that what we consider to be external reality that is consensual
