Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello everyone, it's Sally Clarkson and I am just so glad you're with me today. This

is my third time around to do this podcast. And so I'm just going to make this short and

sweet. I am a mom of four adult children I live in Colorado at the moment. I also love

living in England and traveling all over the world. My husband and I have had our ministry

for about 30 years and we have we have people who are working with our books and in small

groups and about 20 countries all over the world. And we just love all of you and I just love

audience so much. So welcome if you're here for the first time. I have a passion about the Lord

about mentoring, about discipleship. I love education. I love helping people to think clearly.

And so in the next few weeks, I'm going to take a little bit of a detour because in general,

I speak about home, family, mentoring and so on and so forth. But I'm kind of honing in on the

whole area of education. What creates a person who is constantly loving learning and growing and

becoming more excellence and becoming broader in their perspectives. And I just fell in love

with education many years ago when I first started homeschooling my children and you will hear

about this in my book and in my podcast in the days to come. But I have fallen in love with the whole

area of becoming an educated person because when I took on the responsibility of educating my own

children, it meant that I was also kind of taking on the responsibility for myself to grow.

And I feel like in taking initiative to decide, to disciple them and educate them at home and

you'll hear all about that in the next few weeks, it really caused me to become the best person I
