Welcome back to Cosmic Body podcast. This is episode two and we're going to continue on with

my awakening and the spiritual journey

and this coming back to oneness and wholeness with myself.

So here we go.

Where we left off before, I just turned 30.

I was back home living with my family, thinking that I am winning at life, and there were no design jobs. So what was happening was I was

temping at a property management company just to make some money. It was like a neighbor had this

company. So I figured, okay, let's just, you know, she offered me this position. Great. There was

nothing else. There were no design jobs. So now I am working in

property management, which I'll get to in a moment, and also interning at an architecture or a design

firm, I should say. So if you're familiar with interior design, I am obsessed with Kelly Worcler.

She's so talented. She's so amazing. And so I wanted to work there.

That was my goal when I came back to California.

But she was laying off tens of people right and left because of the economy.

So my only way to get in was to intern.

So I was interning for free, traveling there about an hour and a half each way in traffic

for free just to get my foot in the door,

which didn't really help because, again, the economy was so bad, she kept laying people off.

But it was a great experience. She's one of my design idols and mentors. So it was so incredible
