Summary

In this episode of AWAKENING, I explore why it's important to identify any behaviors, habits, relationships, or choices that could be suppressing your life force. This is your vital energy, which animates your physical body. For you to feel healthy, balanced, and spiritually connected, your life force must be flowing freely throughout your body and energy system.

Join me for a discussion of:

  • what is your life force, and where does this concept come from?
  • what are the negative consequences of suppressing or blocking your life force?
  • which behaviors, habits, and patterns can potentially suppress your life force and drain your energy?
  • questions to ask yourself to determine if you're supporting your life force or blocking it

Hello and welcome to a new episode of Awakening.

0:47.8

I'm continuing this series of episodes where we explore the path of awakening, what it means to awaken, how you can deepen

0:58.4

your awakening, and how we can stay on the path of awakening, even when there are so many

1:05.0

temptations and distractions in our modern world to go back to sleep, to kind of return or slip back into

1:13.6

unconsciousness. And of course, sometimes we have the unconscious or conscious longing

1:21.6

to return to sleep even within ourselves, because it can feel like the path of awakening and spiritual evolution

1:30.4

is too hard at times or because it feels lonely or because we just frankly get tired of always

1:40.3

working on ourselves doing the healing, becoming more and more aware.

1:46.1

It's okay to get tired of this at times or to wonder if your healing is ever going to be

1:53.5

complete after all you are human. I do think from my perspective that healing and spiritual evolution are ongoing

2:04.9

processes, in other words, lifelong processes while we are still physically incarnated.

2:13.6

So please give yourself some compassion, some space, give yourself a bit of a break when you need it,

2:20.4

or when you feel this temptation to go back to sleep and into unconsciousness.

2:27.1

This typically means you've been doing some hard inner work.

2:30.9

Maybe you're on the brink of a breakthrough or a big shift. And the ego can throw on the

2:37.0

brakes and make you wonder why you're doing all of this work on yourself or make you question,

2:45.1

is it really worth it? So take a break, go for a walk, think about something else, watch a favorite movie,

2:54.8

and then you'll realize when you come back to yourself, to your higher self, that of course,

3:01.3

this inner work is worth it. And it's what you came to do in this lifetime. Actually, as I've said on the podcast before,
