If you have a Bible and I hope you do, the beauty of the gospel, the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we've got together to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christian. It's what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

Today, we're going to explore a critical truth from the book of

John, namely that the God who has revealed himself in Jesus Christ must be

worshipped in spirit and in truth.

God, we confess this morning that you are holy and you are worthy.

And we pray that all that we do

would be humbly centered around you in our corporate worship.

I pray that as we open up your word, you would show your majesty to us.

You would penetrate our hearts by your spirit with your word, and that you would

transform our hearts to be more in line with the image of Christ and lives that worship you.

And Jesus stand, we pray.
