Hi everyone. I'm Josh, and this is The Emerald,

currents and trends through a mythic lens. The podcast where we explore an ever-changing world

The Emerald. All that's happening on this green jewel in space. Hey friends, a couple quick announcements before we get started with this week's episode.

The world is opening up again, it seems, and I'm going to be leading a mythology immersion to Southern India January 12th through

the 25th, 2003. And it's an immersion where we're going to focus specifically on the goddess

mythologies. So if you listen to the goddess episode and you resonated and you would relish the opportunity to

study these mythologies on a deeper level in their living context and visit some of the

goddess temples, this is a chance to do so. And we're going to a place that I've been going

since I was a little boy in southern India and we'll get to visit two really important goddess

temples Kamakshyaman and Minakshiaman along with several smaller goddess temples and we'll also be

visiting some of the phenomenal Shiva temples down there as well and I'll just say that I'm

really looking forward to it. It's a place like I said that I've been going since I was a kid.

It's a very special place to me and my family and we'll have kind of a home base and a beautiful study space. And we'll study every day and do somatic practice and have an opportunity to feel

and connect with the goddess as a living force.
