The When adults recall childhood, I find it very interesting because sometimes you have adults

who can very vividly pull back to very young ages, one years old, two years old, three

years old, and recall many, many moments, many times from there.

I personally can, and I talk to many others who will flat out say,

I don't remember anything before the age of five. How? How do you not remember anything before

X age? Well, it's called memory repression. And some of us do that.

We repress certain things because they were so overwhelming.

They were so traumatic.

They were so whatever you want to call it, that our brains find a way to cope with what went on

by not allowing us to have to reprocess them over and over.

Now, obviously, there are many reasons for this, many that have nothing to do with ghosts or the paranormal.

But there are several where that is the case,

where what we experienced was so out there, so bizarre,

so impossible for our minds to make sense of,

especially at a young age when you're trying to connect those dots on just the normal building blocks of life,

the stuff, the tangibles,

that it's just, it's gone, at least from our conscious memory.

Sometimes we're able to dig in to that well of repressed memories and pull them out and go,

oh, okay, I do remember this.
