Hello Jason how are you today? I am I'm well how are you? I'm doing well I'm doing very well it is

perhaps the nicest day of the entire year and I have foregone that to sit in a darkened room and speak with you about airplanes.

Oh, well, meanwhile, on the East Coast, where things actually happen, the weather is absolutely

disgusting today and has been all week.

Let's see, Newark has five hour, four minute delays.

JFK has five minute, four hour delays.

LaGuardia has one hour 44 minute delays.

That's not so bad.

But some of the weather we've had with these pop-up

afternoon storms recently have just been phenomenally bad.

If you follow Ethan Clapper on Twitter, he was following closely the weather in Boston,

and they had quite a meter earlier today where the wind was 180 at 18 knots, gusting to 64 knots, and the remarks say

lightning all quadrants, occasional lightning in cloud, cloud to cloud, cloud to ground,

and pretty much everywhere in between.

There was a microburst, wind gust of 68 miles an hour, all sorts of fun on the East Coast today.

In other words, maybe not a good day for flying.

Yeah, try not to fly today.

Try not try your best not to fly today.

But if you can't help it bring patients.
