I'm very excited to be back, Carrie.

So I'm, again, my name is Auburn

Shannon. I teach the department in scripture here at BYU. I did my, again, my undergraduate

in Hebrew Bible at B.Y.U. Ancient New Year's and Studies. The degree, the United Kingdom,

a master's degree over there, and then did a PhD in nearest language and cultures at the

Ohio State University, where I kind of specialized in rabbinic literature and kind of rabbinic

readings of scripture and things like that, to ancient Jewish readings of scripture.

And I'm very, very excited.

And we're just lucky to have you both here in the department and on the program.

Avram has so many wonderful insights. And I know one thing, Avram, that is meaningful to you. It is

me as well, but I think you're better at this than really anyone I know, is understanding the

law as given to the Israelites and what it does for them and what it should do

for us. That's something that I think is very real for you that plays out in your life. And
