We all learn. We all grow. Well, that's not true. We don't all learn

anything. We don't all grow. But for most of us, we learn and grow. It can be some conflict.

But with good communication and a willingness to be honest about yourself and clarity,

the red flags won't be such a disaster.

It's funny, I had a conversation with somebody today who's he's revving up to ask this girl for a date,

and I said, so how are you going to say it? And he gave me what I said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's vague. He was going to say so. Where is this going? I said, what the hell does that mean? That's not you court a woman.

You throw the ball in her court?

What she's supposed to say?

If she has any brains, she'll defer.

Probably not talk to you for two weeks.

I said, be a man.

And say, we've spent many months talking and hanging out a little bit and texting and all that stuff. And I was wondering if he would like to go out on a date with me.

I said, clarity is important. And he said, why is clarity important? I said, because then she'll

know what question she's actually answering. How can you expect her to answer a question that

you're too afraid to ask? Don't make her guess.

I said she'll do one of two things. Say yes, I would love to or, you know, thank you anyway.

And then you'll know, and we'll be done with all of this. Worrysome stuff. Clarity.
