Well, we all know about physical and even emotional infidelity, but have you ever heard of

financial infidelity? We're going to talk about that today. I'm John Fuller, along with Greg and

Aaron Smalley, who lead the marriage team here at the ministry. Greg, financial secrets can lead to financial infidelity.

Yeah. And this has such, John, a harm for the marriage. You think about first and foremost,

just the erosion of trust, how unsafe this feels when something like financial infidelity comes out

that I've been keeping secrets I'm not sharing information hiding certain

things it's just such a betrayal in many ways we'll feel like actual infidelity and and thus we have

to journey together to to rebuild all that I think just the the more secrets that that someone's keeping

the less their heart is able to be known. And so there's

just a decrease in the intimacy, just going, well, I can't let Aaron know this. So I probably

can't let her know a whole lot about me. And it just so you're not known or seeing she doesn't

get that opportunity. And so it wreaks havoc, even on the connection,

the intimacy in the marriage. That's a self-inflicted limit to the intimacy in the marriage.

infidelity. And we don't think, well, financial, well, me spending this money and my spouse
