I'm, of course, your host, John Campia, and it is an awesome honor and privilege, as it is every day to have you. Our international friends gather around as we talk about our favorite things in the world, movies and movie news, TV and streaming and all that good stuff. We're going to start off by talking about a few predetermined topics we got lined up for you guys. Then the second part of the show is when we take your comments and questions. There are two

things started off with this, shall we? You know, Superman was a wonderful, wonderful experience for me. I loved

the new Superman movie. Totally changed the direction of DC. Just for context, the Superman movie came

out. If you want to know how bad DC was by the time Superman came out, Aquaman 2 was the highest

grossing DC movie out of their last nine at $440 million, 60 some odd percent less than the

first Aquaman did. The next one besides that, the highest grossing one,

was Black Adam, which didn't even make 400 million. And then you had a bunch out of their final

line making 300, 200, three of their films made under $200 million. That's how bad it was.

Superman came out, made over $600 million, made more than the previous nine DC films.

So they're off to a good start.

And of course, at the end of Superman they tease Supergirl.

And now we got Jason Mamoa from the aforementioned Aquaman coming back to play Lobo.
