They got boat raced off their home ice by Colorado.

Three goals on three shots to start the game.

It's going to be hard for anyone to come back and win that game.

Caps made a game of it, but we've got some goalie controversy stirring up here.

Brian McNally, the last time the Caps opened a season with three straight losses on home ice, the 83-84 season.

Those were not the good old days for the Caps.

I heard Joe B. and Locker bring that up on the broadcast, and Joe B just stuck a shiv in him when he's like,

and I think you guys started 0 and 7 that year.

It was great.

Yeah, not good.

And more importantly, I think they've won games on the road that are good wins at the

island in St. Louis, in Dallas.

You know, it could be a couple of playoff teams in there.

And they're not taking advantage of home. They're giving that advantage right back. So they have a couple more home games here this week. Got to take advantage of them.
