Welcome to the latest episode of our new series where we dip into the history of motorsport

and find, well, the most interesting, I suppose sometimes controversial storylines

and help me discuss the 2007 Spigate, which is a very long storyline.

But we'll try and do our best with it is Is Morris Hamilton who was there all the way through,

I would say probably one of F1's most remarkable seasons actually 2007.

For lots of reasons of which Spygate was won,

but the arrival of Lewis Hamilton,

the battle between him and his McLaren team met Fernando Alonzo,

all the way to the end, Kimmy Rikinen coming through the middle and winning the championship. But the Spagate thing in the middle was the most unexpected thing. And I can honestly say in my many, many years of doing it, I've never known anything like it, and I hope we'll never see anything like it again. It was just incredible. No, it wasn't very good for F1, but it is an incredible story

and sequence of events

with lots of different players involved.
