Well, it started. Finally, we've got the 2026 F1 season. All the new rules and teams driver combinations have kicked off in Melbourne. I was quite impressed, actually, to be honest with you. I thought, you know, there's been so much doom and gloom about the new regulations and

I just thought, actually the race has been all right, hasn't it?

I'm sure people will find a way to spin it into something that they didn't enjoy it because of X, Y and Z. but if you take it at face value, I would say out of all the Australian Grand Prix

I would say. Yeah, I would think I would agree with that. But, well, before we get into the sort of the nuts and bolts of it, and let's just kind of go over the results, which I'm sure people are familiar with by now. So it's a Mercedes-1-2, George Russell, leading Kimi-Anne E. By just under three seconds. then theeyes of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. Landon Norris, the reigning world champion, a pretty, he was pretty downbeat after, wasn't he fifth, in the only MacLan that made the start. Match just happened in sixth, Olly Bearman, a fine seventh for Haas. Eighth was rookie Arvid Lindblad for racing balls.

A good weekend from him. Gabri Bortoletto, 9th Audi points on their debut. Pierre Gazli doing the thing seems to do, which is just about getting Alpine into the points in 10th. Esteban Ockon was 11th from Alexander Albion in the Williams. disappointing weekend for them. Liam Lawson, 13th in the second racing balls. Franco Colapinto, 14th in the other Alpine. Carlos Seitz, 15th in the second Williams. And Sergio Perez, getting Cadillac a finish on its own world championship debut as well. And then the non-finishes, as we expected, really, the two Astor Martins, Lance Drell, Fernando Alonzo. Valtry Bottas's Cadillac broke down.

As did Isaac Hadjar's Red Bull, we'll talk about him later on. Nika Holkimerg and Oscar Piastri didn't get to make the start.
