Hey everybody, we're at an hour here and today we're talking about a pretty significant

update to autopilot not actually FSD beta related for once, and we also have news on a new

Tesla factory in California, updates on Tesla insurance, Gigafactory's Berlin and China,

and some news on Redwood materials.

Markets continued to rebound today, the NASDAQ finishing up 1%, Tesla outpacing finishing

up 1.7%, to $751.94, nearly shaking off the loss to start this week.

As I mentioned yesterday, the Federal Reserve wrapped up their September meetings today,

so Fed German Jerome Powell speaking after that meeting, and the meeting minutes being released.

All this happens a couple hours before market closed, and obviously the market reacted.

Just fine.

The cliff notes version is that the Fed has decreased their growth outlook for this year,

they've increased their inflation expectations, and they continue to say they'll be reducing

their bond purchases soon, but no date given there.

As for interest rate increases, it looks like the expectations in terms of timeline continue

to move forward, 9 out of 18 members now expecting at least one interest rate increase, next

year, that's up from 7 in June and 4 in March.

Alright, before we get into the real Tesla news, just a quick FYI here, it looks like

PBS is planning a feature Elon Musk on their in their own words series for season 2

episode 5, which is scheduled to air next Wednesday September 29th.

So maybe not a whole lot of new information that's going to come out from that, but should

be interesting nonetheless.
