Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and today we're going to be talking about an interesting

0:10.9

scenario that couldn't play out in the automotive market that has been mentioned by Tesla's

0:15.1

head of investor relations.

0:16.1

We've also gotten an update from Uber on their partnership with Hertz that utilizes

0:19.6

Tesla vehicles, a couple of recalls, another government investigation in a Tesla, and

0:24.3

1:07.0

coaster for them over the last few quarters, here in Q3, that netted them an earnings gain

1:11.2

of $1.1 billion, of course that's non-cash, it's just a markup, but still that was a

1:15.5

little bit over the third of their $2.9 billion in net income, more importantly though for

1:20.1

the fourth quarter their guidance was soft, they're expecting 2% to 8% growth year over

1:24.4

year and guiding for operating income between $0 and $4 billion, so kind of a wide range
