| 0:00.0 | My name is Joe Doran. I heard about the conference through Aaron Antis and Roy. |
| 0:06.0 | I own Glassworks Auto Glass and I was looking to see how I can improve my business. |
| 0:13.0 | I would describe the atmosphere as up- fun and upbeat and a way to learn a lot of knowledge. |
| 0:22.6 | The delivery and presentation style has been fun, engaging, where you're able to pay attention and learn. |
| 0:31.6 | The most valuable thing that I've learned so far is how to implement and bring change into the culture of my |
| 0:39.6 | business. The favorite aspect of the workshop is the totality of the information, where it's |
| 0:48.4 | practical information from everything from marketing to managing to recruiting. What people are missing out on and not attending is the opportunity of growth, |
| 1:01.0 | the opportunity to bring stability to their workplace, |
| 1:06.0 | the opportunity to actually work hard for the future of working less. |
| 1:15.6 | My name is Mike Summer and I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
| 1:19.6 | I have a construction remodeling business, new home construction, that sort of thing. |
| 1:25.6 | I listen to the podcast religiously, just knowledge bombs after knowledge bombs after knowledge bombs, and they preached this conference, so I had to see what it was all about, and here I am. This one's hard for me because I was looking to learn so much. I realized how much I don't know. You know, for optimizing my schedule, getting the most out of a day, like how to make a do-lis, like that sounds so simple, but it's not for me, whatever reason. |
| 1:49.0 | So like I was looking to learn how Clay, the master, does all this stuff and I could go on and on about what I wanted to learn, but basically let's just say they answered all my questions and I know now what I need to do. |
| 2:02.4 | So a couple of the biggest things that I learned |
| 2:05.2 | is being clear about your goals. |
| 2:08.8 | Like you gotta know where you're going |
| 2:11.4 | so that you know how you're gonna get there. |
| 2:13.2 | You can't just drift through your day |
| 2:16.5 | and just think you're gonna be successful if you don't know what you you want out of life. You have to have a reason why you're doing it. And that is probably one of the number one things that just absolutely changed my life today. So Clay, he calls it the edutainment, and I can't even like describe it any better than that. Now that I'm out of high school, I actually like learning. I didn't like learning in high school, but, like, Clay's format is so, like, friendly and funny and, like, just, it's packed with knowledge, but, like, not in an overwhelming, boring lecture way. Like, he's just, like, talking to you the whole time, but it feels like you're having a conversation with your best buddy. And it's just, like, fun. It's kind of like Disneyland in the sense that there's no other place like it on Earth. And I'm, like, that's not just, like, cliche, saying, that's true. You know, it's just so, like, positive, it's so happy, it's so friendly. There wasn't a person here that I didn't want to talk to and I didn't learn something from. Literally every person I bumped into, I learned something from. They're all just like closet geniuses. They look like normal people, but they're not. They're kind of like Superman when he's wearing Clark Kent's clothes. So that's what Thrive is like. So I've never been to another business conference because I kind of think they're slimy and like, schemy, so I've avoided them like the plague. But Clay's like a tell, like his passion, and he kind of like went through like the every, you know, hesitation that I ever had. |
| 3:43.3 | He told me, like he wasn't actually talking to me, but it felt like he was, he told me why |
| 3:48.5 | his isn't like that. |
| 3:49.9 | And so I said, what the heck, let's give this a try. |
