One of the best books I've read in the past few years is natural-born heroes by Chris McDougal.

It's a book ostensibly telling a fascinating piece of history how the Nazi General

Cripa was peacefully but shockingly kidnapped amid swarms of Nazi soldiers

occupying the Greek island of Crete in World War II, kidnapped by a small team

of British intelligence officers teamed up with local Creighton partisans.

Now on its own it's an adventure story that is worth your wild, but more than just that,

the book studies conceptions and misconceptions about heroism and about health and body awareness,

connecting the ancient world with our modern world in a compelling way so I felt compelled to

invite its author Chris McDougal to join us and he said yes. Authors in August
