And sad to say, even religion isn't preaching this. They will sit there and say,

well, you know, you just have to suffer.

And we're further along. We know all about it. I'm just a poor wayfaring pilgrim, a trudging through this world below.

And we glorify our inadequacies. Dwayne mentioned this this morning when we were with our Bible college students and he said that

we have been sitting here having self-improvement things is what our church has got into is

self-improvement trying to get you to feel better about yourself you need to deny yourself

you need to get out of yourself and into your born-again self.

This isn't. Jesus didn't come to change your life. He came to exchange your life to give you a new life.

You are already a new person. In the spirit, you don't need to grow and get complete. You are complete

in the spirit. The growth in the Christian life is right here between your ears, renewing your

mind and getting out of this carnal way of thinking that limits God and begin to start saying and

seeing and thinking about yourself the way that the

word of God says. And I tell you, there's not very many Christians that do that. Again, the average

Christian has been taught to glorify their weaknesses. Now, Paul did say that I glory in my weaknesses,

but not because he just stayed there, but when I'm weak, then I'm strong.

When I recognize that I can't do it, then it pushes me beyond myself to say, God, you can do it.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

People will say, well, without Jesus, you're nothing.
