I believe the worst doctrine in the body of Christ is an extreme interpretation of the sovereignty of God,

that God just sovereignly controls everything, that whatever he wants done is going to be done,

whether you or I pray or do anything, that God just sovereignly moves. He is in control.

Well, I believe that God is sovereign, if you will define sovereign the way the Bible defines it, as being first in control. Well, I believe that God is sovereign. If you will define sovereign the way the Bible

defines it as being first in rank order or authority, God is absolute. But to say that he

controls everything, that is denying and not understanding that he delegated authority to us.

God does not control. What goes on on this earth.

Matter of fact, the Bible says in James chapter four, verse two, from which come wars and

fighting among you, come they not hints of your own lust that war in your members you lust and

kill and desire to have and yet you have not because you ask not.

That verse right there makes it very clear that the reason we have wars, or not because

God starts all of the wars, it's because God gave us control and we are not using it properly.

And this is the reason things happen.
