Welcome to the International Spy Museum.

I'm Mark Stowt, the historian here.

For those of you I haven't met.

We are joined today by Frank Rofalco. Frank studied at Mount St Mary's College

and the University of California at Berkeley. I'm a Stanford grad and I think it's, I'm nonetheless delighted to have a Berkeley grad here before joining the CIA in

1967 which I imagine is a rarity these days for Berkeley graduates I could be

wrong he's served in the CIA for 32 years before retiring in the year 2000.

Mr. Rofalco is a counterintelligence specialist. During his career he served in two stations

overseas and also in the National Reconnaissance

Office's Counter Intelligence Unit, including for his time as its

acting chief.

He was also chief of the National Counter Intelligence

Center's Counter Intelligence Community Training Board and

an advisor to the State Department's Overseas Security Policy Board.
