Welcome back for a second round.

Can he give us a little bit of a thumbnail on what both understanding the F word and derailing

democracy is about?

Okay, yeah, derailing democracy, which was written in like the late 90s, like 1998-99, I think

published in 2000, was meant, it was actually meant kind of as a warning

to the American people, kind of as a wake-up call, slap in the face as you were, as it

were.

And it was just, I wasn't so much of the writer, I guess, of that as the editor.

It actually grew out of a website that I put together, my first political website when I first

got on the internet back in my, beginning in like 96, 97.

And I began collecting all of these sort of quotes and facts and statistics that directly contradicted the notion that

you know, America is this great democracy that we all believe it to be.

And I had a sense at that time that we were sailing into some very dark waters, you know,

that this ship of state was seriously off course.

And that was kind of issued as my warning to the country to wake up before it's too late.
