So we are in a series called Real. Real is an acronym for relevant engaging authentic life.

If you want to turn to Acts Chapter 1, we'll begin there in a moment.

This week is called authentic witnesses.

So this is the third week.

We talked about relevant fishermen.

We talked about engaging influencers this week authentic witnesses.

But I thought I'd just tell you a story I heard about about a hillbilly lived way up in the hills and he had four great big boys all over six

foot tall and he called his four sons together one day and he said to him which one of you through the outhouse in the

river and none of them said anything so he, I want to tell you boys a story.

When George Washington was a little boy,

he cut down his Paul's Cherry Tree.

And when his Paul asked him, he told the truth, so his paw didn't whip him.

So I'm going to ask you again, which one of you boys through the outhouse in the river?

One of the boys put his hand up and the hillbilly grabbed him, took him down in the

woods shed and just whooped him real good.

And after he whooped and the boy said, I thought you said George Washington's paw didn't

whoop him because he told the truth.

He said, well, George Washington's paw wasn't in the Cherry someone else you'll figure out.

The point is that he'll be simply trying to get the boy to tell the truth.

In this message, I'm simply trying to get you to tell the truth about what's already

happened in your life and that is you've met Christ I just want you to tell

someone so we're going to talk about being authentic witnesses, all right?
