Lots to get into today. Austin Matthews with 60 goals. That's one of the headlines coming out of the weekend. The playoff picture becoming a little more focused. That is another story coming out of the weekend. Also, scoring race heating up as well.

getting back to doing more QODs here. And today's question of the day is, who is your most improved hockey player this year in the NHL? And should the NHL have an award celebrating that? I've kind of gone back and forth on the idea for a while. I'll get into that a little bit later on with eliot friedman who stops by to kick off hour two and also with matt marquis you kicks off hour one here in a couple of moments um for me it's by for me it's down to two people it's either quentin byfield of the los angeles kings or set jarvis of the carolina hurricanes discuss amongst yourselves we'll pick it up here at a couple of moments. Bottom of the hour, don't look now, but the Winnipeg Jets are in a bad way. They've lost six games in a row, and tonight they will face off against the Los Angeles Kings. This is a very big game tonight for the Winnipeg Jets. I don't know how to spin this one other than they need goals, and we're wondering what they're doing with Colper Fetty. Sean Reynolds stops by from the NHL and Sportsnet. He will fill us in on what the latest is with the Winnipeg Jets right now. As I mentioned, Elliot Freepin kicks off hour two. And then Lance Luske from the Buffalo News. We'll talk about the Buffalo Sabres and what's next. And not just like what's next, like the next game or the next few games here. But like what's next? What's next for the coaching staff? What's next for the goaltenders? What's next for the general manager, what's next for a free agency,

because there's a whole lot of questions about the Buffalo Sabres, and that continues.

And that, by the way, on Saturday was, I want to call it an invasion. Like we saw that with the Rangers Philadelphia Flyers last year towards the end of the season,

where the Rangers just invaded Wells Fargo and it turned into a Rangers home game, essentially.

A real low point for Philadelphia Flyers fans that they don't like to talk about very much.

It was a low point in the organization, a low point in the franchise.

season ticket holder, you know the deal. You sell your Maple Leafs tickets. You make your money

back and you pretty much cover off all your expenses for buying season tickets. And that was and

felt very much like a Toronto Maple Leaf's home game on Saturday on route to a shout out victory

where Austin Matthews scored his

60th goal. He becomes the ninth player in the history of the NHL to have multiple, multiple 60 goal

seasons. Here are the ranks that he joined. Mike Bossie, Wayne Gratzky, they both had five.

Mario Lemieux had four, sort of Phil Esposito. Brett Hall had three. Pavel Burray with two. Yari Curry with two. Steve Eiserman with two. Austin Matthews now with two.
