I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And yesterday we talked some of the Rust situation and whether or not the Lakers are at the point where they actually have to trade him, right before training camp. And it's kind of a bummer to be at this point of the summer and like not know

what your team is and kind of be in this state of flux. And so what I want to talk about today is

someone a little more grounded at least that we expect to have back on the team next year.

And that's Austin Reeves.

We've gotten probably more info about his summer, what he's been up to than any of the other guys.

He's apparently bulked up. He's been doing yoga to add flexibility. He's really working on his

jump shot. And when I think of next season's team, however, things settle

with Russ. My biggest question for the roster is, are we going to have enough guys?

I think that you have to have seven, preferably eight guys that you can go deep into the playoffs

with. And I think a key to us being able to get to that number, seven or eight guys, however, the

rest situation shakes down, is for one or two of our internal guys to be able to reach

that level, where they can be atop the seventh guy or the eighth guy on a really good team.

Austin, for me, Dee, is the guy who is the top candidate for that with Stanley close behind.

But there are a lot of questions about him.
