Austin Metcalf's dad was giving an interview and he called Carmelo Anthony a watermelon felon

and the internet is in uproar. Well, there are a lot of people saying like, yo, like, why?

We don't got to go there. Like you win. This dude killed your son. We totally get it. I understand

you're mad. But you don't got to throw watermelon felon out there, I guess. That's the sentiment a lot of people have, right? Why inflame the tensions? Initially, Jeff Metcalf said, this wasn't about race. Now, I think it's clear to everybody it is. And I'm going to tell you it is. I mean, it's just a fact of the reality. Carmelo Anthony, I believe, was motivated

partially by race. I genuinely do believe that. I believe that Carmelo Anthony wanted to

kill Austin Mecca. I think the testimony makes this clear. And let me give you a bit more

of the context of what we're seeing with the point of this show this morning is.

But what I will say is we've got a bunch of videos popping up from black people that are calling for violence or segregation.

It's just downright insane.

Now, I can certainly understand the anger of a man who just lost his son.

I mean, just as in, you know,

it was a year ago. So he's mad about it. I'm not a fan of calling somebody a watermelon felon,

but I got to be at least a little sympathetic. I'm going to cut him some slack. His son was murdered by this kid. So he's obviously going to carry that for a long, long time.

But I do have to say generally, this is just going to make things worse.

Here's what I think. Gen Z's undergoing what the left would describe as a white racial awakening.

They are tired of being told they cannot call out FBI crime stats or bad neighborhoods. It is patently obvious to everybody. The problem is

you get these liberals that are like, if you, if you point out that young black men are responsible

for the overwhelming majority of murders in this country, or I should say per capita,

then you make all black people look bad.

There's no, listen, some people play that game. Don't tell me I can't talk about something because

I am not playing that game. And everybody knows it. And we get in this stupid position where

people want to point out, there are macro level politics.
