Well, hello and welcome to the tennis podcast on day 10 of the Australian Open, also known as Inferno Day. Temperatures hit 46 degrees Celsius here earlier before mercifully calling off a couple of hours ago.

0:27.0

It's also been All Abilities Day at the AO today, which is really tough timing because it's a great initiative that they do here.

0:35.1

But unfortunately, the crowds were obviously thin

0:37.9

because it was basically unbearable to be outside during daylight hours today.

0:43.7

But they still went ahead with most of the planned activities, a lot of them for kids.

0:47.9

They had a temporary tattoo station that we missed out on, David.

0:50.9

I'm sure you're gutted about that.

0:52.7

Dylan Alcott, who's a household name and a big star here.

0:56.1

He was very involved with various different things as part of All Abilities Day. And there was a

tickets to Melbourne Park over the next five days, or if you are in Melbourne and don't have

1:23.0

tickets, get yourself a grounds pass and come and check out the wheelchair tennis.

1:28.2

Those events are well worth watching.

1:30.5

They get good crowds here in Australia.

1:32.4

I think there'll be a vibe and they deserve that support.

1:37.3

So yeah, it's a cool thing that they do here and it was just a shame that the timing worked out as it did.

1:45.3

But speaking of tennis showcases, David, Carlos Alcaraz

1:52.0

and poor old Alex de Manor, 76-6-2-6-1 for Al-Qaraz tonight.

2:00.5

It felt like an exhibition.

2:02.7

It felt like a Carlos Alcaraz testimonial.
