Summary

The UK has cracked down on anti-immigration protests and "armchair thugs," which is newspeak for people who post memes on the internet. The Police Chief of the London Met has even threatened to extradite American memers who have violated UK hate speech laws so that they can face the crown's judgement.

Meanwhile, in the free-speech-loving USA, the legacy media has created a Kamala Harris presidential campaign out of whole cloth, and have shut Donald Trump out of almost any coverage. When millions of people listened to him having an unscripted conversation with Elon Musk on X last night, journalists and news outlets panicked that he was making an end-run around the "appropriate channels" to speak directly to citizens.

According to Open Source Defense yesterday, "Tyranny is here, it's just not evenly distributed."

You know, it's been a little while since we checked in on Tyrity, just to see how it's doing.

0:11.2

Welcome back to another episode of T-Rex Talk. This is Isaac Bodkin, and we're going to be

0:16.5

talking a little bit about tyranny. I did do a wellness check on tyranny earlier this week,

0:21.1

and, well, unfortunately, it's doing fine. If you've been paying attention to the news, which,

0:26.1

well, to be honest, you probably shouldn't, you will have come to roughly the same conclusion.

0:30.8

And I want to look at two specifically different things and comment on a open source defense article

0:36.3

today. One thing is what is happening in the UK right now.

0:41.2

The other is just kind of the state of the United States presidential election.

0:45.6

And we'll talk about how those things kind of interact. They're not exactly interacting in the

0:51.4

moment, but they do reveal a couple of interesting things.

0:55.2

So let's talk a little bit about what was going on in the UK.

0:59.6

In the UK, there is a lot of strong talk from the government, from the Crown, not so much the King, King Charles III, but the Crown prosecutors and the police, the heads of the Metropolitan Police of

1:13.7

London and of the entire UK, have said that they're going to crack down on far-right thugs,

1:19.2

who are basically, according to their own definition, anybody who is disappointed in how

1:24.0

immigration is going doesn't want any more immigration, or doesn't want immigrants to

1:28.8

stab children with knives. There was a pretty rowdy riot that kicked off, but it kicked off

1:35.9

because three children had been killed in a knife attack that also wounded a whole bunch of other

1:40.9

people. And the government of the UK has cracked down on those rioters.

1:47.4

There isn't even bail for the people who were part of the riot. There isn't even bail for the

1:51.9

people who were watching the riot because they are far right thugs and they don't deserve

1:56.8

basic protections of their rights. Now this is very interesting because things are kind of devolving in the UK from a,

2:06.0

I would say, a law and order perspective.
