What's up guys? Welcome back to the pod. How are we all doing? I am lying in my bed recording this from LA. My mom actually came to LA to hang with me because she was worried about my mental state.

Sometimes we all need our moms, you know, no I'm fine, but you know I was like please can you come

in house sit and just hang out with me and she said yes she really is the best.

I made a tick talk the other day about how the thing I hate most about myself was that I take out my stress on my mom because she's like the only person I can be real with and it got such a big response so apparently a lot of us do

that we even had a caller to the show last Wednesday calling and saying you

know she does that too and it's okay and moms do know about that and that I should

write her letter saying thank you and you know I do appreciate her so much I don't

know if anybody else's mom is like this but I swear I say thank you but my mom doesn't feel the

appreciation she doesn't she doesn't need it but she also doesn't feel it and

that just might be because she's a Gemini and she is very Gemini so I just find it hard. Like a normal person, I would just buy them something.

I would just like, I don't know, get them like a gift to say thank you and I feel like they would feel it but my mom I don't know how she like accepts

I actually should ask her what her love language is because I don't know how she accepts love the best

It's so interesting. I am definitely a person. My love language is acts of service, but by that I mean like people showing up for me. Like if so for example my

mom coming to LA to like be with me while I'm stressed

out is an active service for me but how I try to show love is gifts isn't that funny have

you ever thought that how you give off love and

receive it or two different ways? I don't know I'm always just like let me buy you this

let me let me I don't know get you a gift card I don't know which is maybe I need to work on that in therapy but anyway so I thought that after

last week's article episode we could do something light so we're going to hop into some August and September faves because we haven't done one of those in a minute and you guys were asking me what I've been vibing with lately

thinking a lot about what I've been reviving with for fall too so hopefully if you're if
